Video on historical sites in Lakewood, OH
The video that I created is a tour of historical sites in Lakewood, OH. This video could be used as a lesson or a sample for students to create their own movie using movie maker.

Webquest for Math Manipulative Websites
The web quest that I created has students reviewing websites that could be useful for studying a particular topic in math. It is important that students can have different resources other then the book and their teacher. This activity also explains to students that all resources on the web are not necessarily the best.

Google Earth Tour
I created a tour visiting prestiges colleges in the United States. Students will visit each location on google earth and click on the links. It is a nice way to show students a tour without leaving the classroom.

Wiki Page for EDU 514
I was able to add my screencast to the k12 wiki page. It basically describes how to create a table in Microsoft word. The level for this activity would be for students who have little experience with Microsoft word. As I looked through the wiki I have noticed lots activities I could use in classroom.

Slideshow on Animoto
I created a video slideshow on Animoto and it is the coolest thing I ever did. For my students they could use this feature, which was easy to navigate, to create slideshows personally and create files for school projects. I am impressed with this.
Create your own video slideshow at animoto.com.
Online Photo Album
For my online photo album, I emailed each picture to my gmail account and saved them in my H-drive. After I saved it in my H-drive I uploaded the photos. With this feature, a student could take pictures for a project and share them easily online for the teacher and there classmates to see. Check out the link below.

Evidence of Network Participation
In the file below is some of the comments and discussions that I had with my fellow peers in EDU 514. I found it to be very helpful and could be a useful tool in the classroom. Students could comment on how well somebody did on a project or what they need to do to correct an error.

First time Podcast
The audio recordintg device I used was on Aviary. This was very new to me but I think this will be an excellent tool to use in the classroom. I think of those days when a student is absent and using this device so students can get the notes from the previous lecture.
ScreenCast for EDU 514
What I created was a screencast creating a table in a microsoft word document. For example, when you presented this information to your class, I sure there were students who still might have questions on the assignment. The screencast lets you record your instructions with the visual so the students can follow along at their own pace. It is an amazing tool and I wish they had something like this when I was in high school and my undergrad.

Web 2.0 Tool
Looking at different web tool I came across a website called floorplanner.com. It is a free website(unless you want to upgrade) that students would be able to create floorplans 2 and 3-dimensional. This is a great real-life connection to mathematics. Each student can create an account and develop different floor plans for a dream house they would design. Here are the links below:

Online quiz take 2
The last time I tried this I had to comments that it didn't work. After talking with Professor Dunlap, we discovered that since I only created one student, it would only work once. When I posted it the first time I took the quiz to see if it worked. It did, but it could not be used again. So I hope it works because I checked and it is assigned. When you click on the link below the username is BW514 and the password is the same. This is a very useful tool because it allows students to take the quiz where they have access to a computer. I know everyone does not have access to a computer at home so provide options like the public library or at school during a students lunch period.

Google Docs take 2 again
I created a word file on google docs for students who are new to the classroom. Last time I used the spreadsheet format on google doc, where the students had to fill in the columns. With the word file, I asked the students to answer the questions so I could learn some information about them. This could be used in the beginning of the year or for students who have a high-mobility rate who move from school to school. That happens frequently in my district. This was corrected after discovering an error in my word document from google docs.

Google Doc integration take 1
For my first Google Document I created a spreadsheet that can be used during the first week of school. In most cases, I would pass out a survey and a info sheet for students to fill out. Using the spreadsheet feature on google documents, students can click on the link and fill in their information for the class. This is very similar for Edu 514 on our blackboard page with our emails and blogger sites. Here is the link below:

Here is my personal learning network that I composed. It is amazing how much informaiton can be displayed on bubbl.us. Students can use bubbl.us when doing a research paper for any paticular class. For example, students who our visual learners can map out their project if they struggle with a traditional outline form.

Video Storyboard
The storyboard that I am doing seems very boring compared to some of the other ideas that I have seen. It is a tutorial navigating on a website that pertains to my district. I compare my storyboard to B-rated movie, but hey, it's my first one.

Getting sick at the end of the day sucks
There is nothing worse then getting sick at the end of a school day.
